Er... don’t.

Without doubt the worst toilets I visited in China.

If you have to, here are some tips on making your toilet breaks as pleasant as possible.

Unfortunately weeing behind a bush isn’t really an option as the pathways are mainly serious stone steps cut into the mountain - not a lot of space to hide a big enough bush to squat behind.

If you must go, try to visit the loos at the tourist shops.  These tend to be the cleanest.  Of course you could also try and have a cup of tea at one of the hotels, but when I did this I was told the toilets were closed - so I had to use the public loos anyway.

Go in the loos at the cable car station, ticket office - wherever you can before you get desperate!

Good luck!
