Hunting for a loo in New York is much the same as hunting for a loo in London - generally good options are shopping centres, coffee shops, but every so often the search throws up a gem like this.  A place that cannot be referred to as a loo, toilet or even bathroom; no this is the kind of place for which expressions such as “ladies room” or “powder room” were invented.

To find it, just head to Bloomingdales and avoid the lower floor toilets (long queues abound) and head instead to the designer floor, take a moment to peruse the simply gorgeous outfits up here and then head into the ladies room.  You may never want to leave.  (It’s nicer than a lot of hotel rooms in New York.)
