Foot, Hong Kong

This is actually a great place and a very nice introduction to Reflexology (although so are all the places I visited in China.)  But I can’t recommend it as my spa recommendation in Hong Kong is the magnificent Mandarin Spa, Hong Kong.

It was easy and cheap - we rocked up at about 11pm and I had 50 minutes of blissful rubbing (even fell asleep when he was working on the second leg) for HK$250 (about £20) - no service charge.

The only downside was that we were treated in one big room, in the biggest armchairs I’ve ever seen.  Nice to be sitting next to Mandy, not bothered about the two Chinese businessmen opposite snoring, but the two ladies at the end rabbiting on in English I could have done without.  After a day on a plane we could both have done without being in “communal space” which is a shame as I think it was a brilliant treatment for jet lag - as I slept like a baby - despite the soaking and late supper (unless that is the real cure for jet lag!)

For more info visit the Foot website.

Don’t get me wrong, some of these are excellent, but I couldn’t, in good conscience give them a Pearl Recommendation.  Sometimes they were just beaten to the punch, or I couldn’t decide a clear winner, other times they had a lot right, but I felt they just weren’t there.  I don’t really want to give bad reviews, but anything I felt was really best avoided you’ll find in the Jellyfish section.
