No, it's not a method of hair removal (or at least not one I've seen!) but a wonderful additional to foot and hand treatments. I particularly love this for my feet.
(or can be painted) with a melted paraffin wax (which should be tested to be the perfect temperature for you) and then left to relax. While the paraffin wax cools and hardens your feet reap the benefits. When the wax is then removed your feet should feel soft and moisturised.
This is also now popular for indulgent manicures.
