For the low down on my exceptional Venik Massage check out my review of the K West Spa & Hotel in London.
My masseur was Serbian rather than Russian but it felt way more traditional because of the stunning Snow Paradise that formed a major part of the treatment. I've seen other treatments being offered which involve either a dunk in an icy plunge pool or being "bucketed" with cold water... having been soaked through once with cold water in a hammam it's an experience I'd choose not to repeat.
This is one of my favourite massage experiences even though some might not technically describe it as massage. It's weird, it's wonderful, it's wild; what's not to love?
